Estimated Breed Mix: Hound/Husky Approximate Age: 8 years Approximate Weight: 60 lbs  Description: Millie is 8 years old, but still has plenty of energy. She'd love a family that will take her for regular walks and maybe even hikes or camping! She also enjoys sniffing around the fenced in yard. Millie is happiest when she is outside! Millie is independent and likes her personal space—she was very stressed out by young kids in her prior home. She would love a family with older kids who will respect her. Same with animal friends. Millie enjoys the company of doggie friends who respect her boundaries. She met a Chihuahua who also is independent, and they did great together, doing their own thing. If other dogs bark at her on a walk, she'll engage, but if they show no interest in her, she matches the vibe. Millie also loves riding in the car with the windows down! That fresh air really makes her smile!   Millie is very food motivated, so she would be easy to train. Not that you need to! She knows sit, stay, leave it, come, and off. She is fully potty trained, and doesn't need to be put in her crate at night or when you leave the house! She's happy to play with toys if she has extra energy, and starts crashing for the night by 8pm. She's a very respectful sleeper, staying on her side of the bed. When she's really excited, she might let you know by barking and howling, so she also needs somewhere that noise won't be an issue.    Millie is super gentle when taking treats, and is the sweetest girl.
