At the moment he is really loving his foster home, but when he was at our rescue he was a bit down in the dumps. We can't blame him, because he was adopted from us in 2017, and returned in 2025 due to not fault of his own. You will love this sweet boy!   We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation. On average, we spend about $125 to prepare a cat or kitten for adoption, which includes testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, vet care, medicine and spay/neuter (if old enough). We set a minimum donation at $50 and just ask adopters to cover more of the $125 if can afford it. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more of our cats. It is also important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and intend to give them a home for life.
